Root Canal
Teeth are held in place by roots. Teeth and roots contain a soft tissue called Pulp. Decay or injury will damage and destroy pulp, this makes the area susceptible to infection, leading to abscess and tooth ache if left untreated. Root Canal (also known as Endodontic) treatment will remove damaged or dead pulp and the space left behind will be filled. The remaining tooth structure and surface is then reconstructed with a Crown.
